Members of the GT Campus Community are invited to submit events for International Education Week which will be celebrated Monday, November 14 - Friday, November 18, 2016.

This year our theme is GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP. We are encouraging departments, units or student groups to develop/host events that celebrate international education in relation to this theme. Global citizenship can be defined in many different ways and we hope that groups will explore these definitions through a myriad of event topics and types.

Some possible events are

1) hosting a lecture or panel with faculty and/or students
2) presenting an informational session on a program/course/initiative in your area
3) organizing an event to showcase how your dept/unit/group is involved in international education
4) coordinate an activity related to international education

Check out the list of events from 2015 or past years, or the national IEW webpage for more ideas. The sky is the limit!

Submitted events are not required to adhere to the theme - any event can be included if it relates to International Education! This is a great way to raise the profile of your department, unit, student group, research group or project! We hope that departments, units and student groups throughout the GT campus community will submit events for inclusion in IEW 2016. We look forward to another wonderful IEW at Georgia Tech!
